                    "By His Stripes"

                By Pastor Huey Harris

In the book of Isaish 53:5; we read But he was wounded for our transgressions,he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

The bible clearly tells us that all that Jesus went through for us wasn't
Just for our eternal security or salvation.

But everything he went through was for our healing of sickness, diseases, and illnesses.

People who would receive this healing by faith can experience bodily healing as well as spiritual healing.

Some people need healing from depression.

The word tells us in Acts 10:38; How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

1 Peter 2:24;By his wounds you have been healed.

Its Gods will that His children experience healing of the body, mind, and soul.

Pray with me: Father I pray for those that are reading this, I pray for supernatural healing to take place in their lives or the lives of those whom their believing you for healing.

We know that "deliverance is the children's bread" We call on you now for healing by faith in Jesus name.

Lord, I pray they fill your healing touch right now in Jesus name. Be Jehovah Rapha right now in Christ name amen.

Overcome Rejection

1/16/2016

Rejection (Feelings of worthlessness, insecurity, or hopelessness) is seen often. It usually stems from a life event that took place that ended with leaving hurt or pain. Things like multiple failed relationships or marriages, not getting the job or promotion you desire, not having the friends you feel you should have, and so on. But other times it is a little deeper; rejection can set in after the emotional wounds from a past traumatic experience   (like rape, abortion, mental/physical/verbal abuse, etc) have remained for a time and have become infected. This often causes us to expect hurt and pain from others, along with bringing low self-esteem, lack of confidence,  and difficulty receiving help (among other things).

God wants to set us free from the pain of our past. If God remembers our sins no more after repentance, we can learn to forgive ourselves and let things go also.

Psalms 103:12 (NIV)
He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.

The first step is receiving the truth about ourselves; how God really feels about us. We must get out of agreement with the devil's lies, our own negative thoughts, and even with what other people say we are. The Word says the TRUTH will us free (John 8:32).

Psalm 139:14 (NIV)
Praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Jeremiah 1:5 (NIV)
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

Would you agree that our words are powerful? So are our thoughts, because what we say starts there. The Bible talks about the creative force of words; yet even scholars (like 'life-coaches, etc.) and some scientists  (like Masaru Emoto) admit that words have a powerful affect on our lives, negative and positive of course. The Bible speaks of renewing (reprogramming) your mind (Romans 12:2). Think of how powerful it is and pleasant it will be, to go at life with the energy of knowing for a fact who you really are - which does not have to be a by-product of your past! No hurt, pain, or any event from our past is too 'crazy', big or difficult for God ☺.
Feeling alone and overwhelmed by things is hard, but we don't have to stay that way. The loving relationship all of us need can only be provided perfectly from God. Reach out to us or someone you know in Christ to help you get there!

Let us Pray:
Father in Heaven, I come to you humbly and with thanksgiving, knowing that you honor my requests (John 14:13; Matthew 7:8), and I thank you for your unending love for me. I open my life to you now, by faith. Please take control. Lord I ask that you reveal to me the source and the root of my pain, in order for me to confront it and lay it to rest at the altar of the cross. Because you died in my place, I am really free from all grief  (Isaiah 53:4) and pain. Teach me to renew my thinking, of myself and others; heal all things broken in me from my past experiences, and all toxic emotions caused by hurts God. Send positive people and influences around me, and teach me to cast down every lofty thought that attempts to exalt your Word - as the truth keeps me free. Flood me with more of you Lord, and place me on the platform of your peace - a place I need to be, in order to have clear, unhindered thoughts about my life. Thank you Lord! and amen.

Deliverance From Condemnation

1/16/2016

Condemnation defined: the expression of very strong disapproval; expression of very strong and definite criticism or disapproval. Or: condemning someone to a punishment; sentencing.

Now, does that sound anything like Jesus? Actually to be truthful,  it is anti-Christ. Completely against the message of the Good News he taught and demonstrated.

Jesus said He came for the lost, not the righteous.  He repeatedly told those He contacted, "you're sins are forgiven (by way of our faith)" see Luke 7:47-48, Matthew 9:2.

Isaiah 43:25New Living Translation (NLT)

25 “I—yes, I alone—will blot out your sins for my own sake
and will never think of them again.

So if God doesn't,  why should we? First, we know to defend ourselves (in the area of our mind or thoughts) by practicing 2 Corinthians 10:5 - "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

Anything that the devil makes you feel like you need to "pay for", or feel shame or disgrace for....or have to "earn" forgiveness from God for something in the past,   cast that down! It's  a lie from the 'accuser of the bretheren' (Revelation 12:10). Jesus died in our place, knowing we needed a Savior - and paid the price of sin (which is death) for us already. we need to repent and receive our forgiveness by faith, only. Jesus told the Pharisees that they needed more than to know 'the letter of the law' of Moses; they needed to believe in Jesus and what He offered by grace.
So we know we are all forgiven through Christ. so let's pray:

Dear Father, I thank you for the forgiveness of sins. I thank you that through your blood, I am counted as righteous.  I receive it now! I ask that you bring healing to any and all areas in my mind, heart and body where I am harbouring any of my past or experiencing effects or anything negative from my past experiences. Sow me where I have any habits of condemning myself or others, God. Show me how to cast them down, as your Word says. Open me up to receive the love and acceptance of God and others as well. This I seal with my Faith. Thank you Lord.  Amen

Procrastination - What IS holding you back??

1/8/2016

Procrastination (chronic delay) is nothing but a thief! It robs you of your life as it swallows up time. One key to changing anything is getting to the root of why it happens in the first place. Some tasks bring dread, fear, etc....but not being able to confront or push past these emotions (for things necessary or important) can create a build-up of problems! What is it that is really holding you back?
Ask God to reveal to you what is causing the delay over necessary things, which affects your quality of life. One example in my life is I had to figure out why I was struggling with getting up on time for work. On weekends, I very rarely even sleep in, and almost always go to bed between 9 - 10pand often even earlier...so I knew it wasn't a sleep issue. The first thing God revealed was in my mind, I didn't have 'enough' to look forward to, from the day - or unfinished goals I had made recently. A few weeks later, I realized I needed to 'speak life' and think more positive in the morning....think of the positive things I was going to accomplish that day, etc instead of immediately thinking of the negative things...even if it is sometimes only: 'it's too early', 'I want to go back to sleep', 'I don't want to go to work', etc, etc......I also began cultivating a attitude of thankfulness towards God, and expressing that beginning when I 1st open my eyes.
I used to procrastinate in many areas of my life, and often wondered why I had no order in areas of my life: finances included. God began changing all that, and I am finally closer to the light in this area. It was and still is a process; but my quality of life is much more peaceful because of it. One reason for my procrastination was lack of self-confidence.
Let's agree in prayer. Jesus told his disciples, Matthew 18:19-20 NIV -  “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.  For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” You can also submit a prayer request here,

Dear Lord, I thank You for making provision for me, at the cross...making healing and wholeness available to me.  Lord I ask that You reveal to me in the way that only You can, the root causes to my delays in my life. Cause order to take place in each area of my life, and give me wisdom; Your Word says you give wisdom to all that ask without reproach (fault-finding). Fill me up in my inner-man of more of You, so that I may walk in Your strength, and with confidence, knowing that You go before me and behind me in all I do. You also said Your sheep hear and know Your voice, and will not follow that of a stranger; cause me to know and trust You when You speak to me Lord. Cause thankfulness to bubble up in my spirit as well; as you are too good for words! The Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End, Wonderful Counselor. Jahovah Shalom (the Lord is Peace)! I see it as 'done' Father, as I know your Word does not return to you void (Isaiah 55:11) and You don't withhold any good thing from your children (Psalm 84:11). Thank you Lord. Amen.

My Prayer For 2016

1/8/2016

Hello All,

I am expectant for 2016, everyone. Not just because it is another 'new year', but because I sense revival in the air.

Spiritually.  Mentally.   Physically.

Just wanted to say a brief prayer with you all:

Father God, I want to foremost thank you for another year you brought us to. I have my right mind, my family, and your precious promises as well. I am so thankful that you watch over your Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). I thank you for your GREAT amount of grace! The expectancy we have Lord, is from You, only. I expect to also walk this year out - as you make my crooked paths straight (Luke 3:5) - with the new things you have changed in me, instilled in me: new ways, new thinking...developing my new habits, etc. walking my victory in You out. Taking my rightful place, as a "Kings Kid" and commanding the enemy to release what is mine, and staying out of my crop field as well (Phillippians 2:10; Luke 10:19); You said the wealth of the wicked belongs in our hands (Proverbs 18:22), and I rest in knowing you care about all my needs; and even my desires (Matthew 6:30-33; Luke 11:10-13; Psalm 37:4)! Thank you for your precious Son, who beared my burden by dying in my place for my sins, so that I would even be able to receive all the gifts you have for your creation freely, and without any reproach  (fault-finding). Lord cause me to be "God-centered" this year - cause everything I do our say to come from a place of Love and Compassion; just like You (2 Corinthians 3:18; Genesis 1:26 Ephesians 4:24). I also plan to receive - yes, receiving is Godly! But I know I am so blessed, to BE a blessing, above all things. Thank you Lord.     Amen!

"Where do I start??"   --   What do you believe?

Are you here because in your heart apart from your feelings or questions, - you  know it is real  --  and all-powerful -- and so full of love, that He does desire for you to walk in total healing and wholeness; mind, body, soul and spirit. In fact, He desires that you always walk this way. He is the answer for what you are searching for. He's here for you, as soon as you are ready to accept and receive Him. He will lead you there; to complete wholeness!

Jesus save me!

John 15:16 NIV - You did not choose me, but I chose you. I appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit -- fruit that will last -- and so that whatever you ask in My name, the Father will give you.
