"Kill them with kindness".
What does that really mean? And, is it even sensible? Proverbs 25:21-22 says: If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you. This passage really isn't there to point the finger at the 'offender'; it's really about us. We should be mature enough eventually in the Lord to walk in love towards others, even when they or things around us are unfavorable. Everyone has a bad day, bad times. But, are we able to remain unoffendable? I think with God's power in us, we can. And only then can we! Choosing to remain in truth, take unpleasant moments of time as temporary, and taking charge over our emotions (instead of the other way around) and skipping giving in to negative or toxic emotions (which often leads to arguing, etc), we can bypass much turmoil. This way, we don't hurt the ones we love so often. Saying things we really don't mean in the end. It is easy to see this demonstration of the 'love walk' when we think of our dear loved ones - like a mother, father, spouse, or children. Most of us love our children so much, that there is practically nothing they can do in a normal spectrum to even cause our love to fade. Jesus walked this way with everyone. He requires we do as well. Matthew 22:36-40 (NIV) “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Matthew 25:40 "The king will answer them, 'I can guarantee this truth: Whatever you did for one of my brothers or sisters, no matter how unimportant [they seemed], you did for me.' Jesus used the following message to remind John the Baptist of this same way of believing - remaining in His faith, in what John already knew to be the truth; and remaining unoffended in God's will being played out a little differently that he'd expected: Matthew 11:4-6 (NKJV) 4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see: 5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.” This is hard to do at times, especially in our own strength. But as God changes our thinking and the types of things we focus on, this does actually get easier! Plus, don't we all like to keep our peace each day? negativity is draining. steer clear ❤ PS~ What do you do, when you encounter darkness?? (like: a situation, in a person, or atmosphere etc? Turn the LIGHT on! (the Light being Jesus) ☺ Davina "God is removing what has touched you" 31; After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. ⭐In this particular scripture we see Peter, John, and their company seeking God for (courage to do His will) in the midst of difficult situations and threats from the elders, chief priests (that were trying to stop them) from preaching & teaching in that name. Note: Many of you need this same courage that only (prayer delivers), to do Gods will in the midst of trying times. ⭐I note out to you, that attacks happens when you find yourself about the fathers business. But like the saints in Biblical times, we should (counter punch) each attack with prayers. ⭐A counterpunch is a boxing punch that immediately follows an attack launched by an opponent. prayer Acts 12:5; will commission the angel of the Lord to touch and (remove whatever is touching you) The Bible reads Acts 12:7; Peter (chains fell off) after the angel visited him in the prison. I decree that *whatever has touched you, God is removing it right now. I pray for a new boldness that will overtake you to do Gods will. Amen. Pastor Huey Harris Joy is supernatural strength - from God. It enables you to make it thru to your victory, with less stalling.
We all have different personalities; some more serious than others. But we can still learn to laugh more! I read that the average child laughs over 200 times a day. The average adult only laughs up to 4 times a day. With the joy of the Lord being our strength (Nehemiah 8:10), shouldn't we cultivate it more? Making the decision to just be happy, is a good start - and praying for Gods help with that when it gets difficult to do so. There is always something to be thankful for. Praise Him! ☺ Hey, we cannot be mad and glad at the same time, right? Let's change what we focus on. Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! I personally feel that having an attitude of joy is more attractive when introducing and eveing represeting God to others. I dont mean the fake stuff; just having a peace within, that what you preach about to others, you really do believe yourself...and it should show. Again, choice comes in here; we all get tested, but we can choose to stand on the peace of God....and receive His joy. Its actually necessary thru trials. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. If we try that for just ONE day. And actually stick with it, focus on it....and DO it - each part - we're guaranteed to feel a shift! Rejoice::pray::thank HIM! For a whole day. God inhabits the praises of His people. So let's try it! To begin a new change in our lives. God bless! Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT) And Nehemiah continued, "Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don't be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!" Phillippians 4:6-7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. God, is sending water to the thirsty. "The Water Is Coming" And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say: “Come!” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wants it take the water of life free of charge. Revelation 22:17; In many churches some pastors don't realize their members and many of their leaders are facing a spiritual decline. These folks need a move off God in their personal lives to be more effective in serving. Some are just going through what has now become new church duties, instead of service for the Kingdom of God. They look hot but are really cold. Lord open the eyes of your SR Pastors across the land. So they can speak a prophetic word into the lives of your people. I pray revival starts with each pastor and shifts to the leaders, pews, chair's etc. And flood their cities with saving souls with great expectation, Lord bless now in Jesus name amen. "The Water Is Coming". Your dry season is up! God is sending fresh waters to your church and life. And you wont have time to sip, because you need more than a sip. You need a cup that overflows continually. When your gifted you see the need! And God showed me a need this morning. Father, I pray for all churches. Lord we pray you send fresh waters, as promised in your Word, in Christ name amen.
Pastor Huey Harris Can I prophesy to whoever this is for?
The word loophole is defined: A way around an obstruction that would otherwise keep a person from obtaining a goal. This can apply literally or metaphorically, and most often applied when bending the rules. The Holy Ghost said, God is breaking loopholes!!! You, are about to (skip pass) a FEW loop holes. In other words, what it might take someone years to accomplish, you are about to (skip pass) some loop holes...because God is breaking them. The Lord said He's speeding up the process!!!! This is the word of the LORD. Pastor Huey Harris |
